Recently, an ex-employee used our company name and posted an unauthorized comment on a Facebook page that alleged that our company “does not sell to people of color.” Nothing could be further from the truth. That statement is not just false but an affront to our company’s core values.
We are taking every action to both correct the record and to bring this person to justice. We’ve removed the post, and we’ve alerted the authorities, who have launched their own criminal investigation. We’ve also begun the process of bringing legal action against this former employee. To make sure this never happens again, we are reviewing all Facebook pages that bear the name of “Bellino Fireworks” and ensuring they are operated by individuals authorized to post under our company name.
This ex-employee has caused our company and our customers pain through a false and hurtful post. Their post doesn’t reflect our company, its employees, or our customers, and what they wrote is beyond unacceptable. Bellino Fireworks deeply values all of our customers and we are grateful for your loyalty, your patronage, and your friendship.
